The resistance of the pins used (RED+ and RED-) is 75 Ohms, so if you want to protect your computer from shortcircuit using the paperclip, you should replace the paperclip with a resistance obtained from any electronic store, like radioshack. The value is 68 Ohms at 1/8 or 1/4 Watt, it does the trick without shortcircuiting the VGA port.</description>
